IKECA hosts two annual events: the Annual Membership Meeting every Spring and the Fall Technical Seminar & Expo. Member companies receive discounted registration rates for all employees of the company.

PECT Program

This member exclusive program is designed to help technicians become prepared to earn their certification. Your employees will earn their Professional Exhaust Cleaning Technician (PECT) designation upon successfully completing the exam.

Active North American Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Company

Defined as those companies that provide cleaning services of kitchen exhaust systems located in North America

$995 per year + one-time $250 non-refundable application fee

At least one employee certified as a CECS or CESI

Provide proof insurance for the company’s general liability
and workers’ compensation policies

Active International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Company

Defined as those companies that provide cleaning services of kitchen exhaust systems located outside of North America

$995 per year + one-time $250 non-refundable application fee

Associate

Defined as companies that manufacture equipment or supplies, or provide ancillary services to the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry

$995 per year + one-time $250 non-refundable application fee

Introductory

The Introductory Membership is open to KEC operators but not available to companies with previous IKECA membership. This membership is a one-time opportunity per company

$575 + $100 non-refundable application fee

At least one employee successfully designated as an IKECA PECT or certified as an IKECA CECT, CECS or CESI

Provide proof insurance for the company’s general liability
and workers’ compensation policies

Authorities Having Jurisdiction

Defined as publicly funded officials with authority to regulate local standards on kitchen exhaust cleaning and inspection

$50 per year

Insurance & Risk Management Professionals

Defined as insurance providers who are responsible for evaluating options for restaurants and commercial kitchens

$50 per year

Restaurant Owners and Facilities Managers

Defined as for-profit entities comprised of facility managers, restaurants, hospitals, universities and other related kitchen exhaust system end user organizations

$50 per year

Emeritus

Defined as individuals who were formerly employed by firms, corporations, partnerships, individual proprietorship and other types of business that were Active, AHJ, FSI, or Associate Members of the corporation and are no longer and individual proprietor or involved with a firm or entity that is eligible to be a member in the Corporation. The individual must, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, have made a contribution to the Corporation.
