The Journal is an industry publication for cleaners, fire marshals, insurance professionals, facility management, vendors, and other interested parties in the commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and inspection industry. As a benefit of membership, The Journal is disbursed at IKECA’s Bi-Annual conferences. The Journal Archives, which contains current and past issues, is available for both members and the public. Topics deal with fire prevention, best practices and innovations in the industry as well as items of interest to insurance providers, local authorities, restaurant and food service facility management and suppliers to the industry. Submission GuidelinesAll submissions are read by the Editorial Board first. They may then be sent to peer reviewers, anonymously, for comments, revisions and recommendations. Submissions may be returned to the author for revisions. The completed submission is then forwarded to the Editorial Board for the final publication decision. The Editorial Board reserves the right to delay or withhold publication of any article submitted. Authors will be kept informed of such decisions. Authors can obtain CEUs for their work on articles, up to .3 CEUs. Articles must be relevant to the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry and related professions. Make a Submission |
