IKECA is the only nonprofit trade association in the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry with a singular purpose; IKECA is committed to fire prevention and life safety by promoting kitchen exhaust cleaning to a higher standard.

IKECA offers a variety of valuable services to the industry and its members:   

• IKECA is the only ANSI accredited organization in the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry, developing national accredited standards, like our first: ANSI/IKECA C:10: Standard for Cleaning of Commercial Exhaust Systems.

• As a trusted resource for guidelines and certification, IKECA offers insurance companies, government agencies and authorities having jurisdiction access to important industry information and free education. 

• Offering industry certifications, IKECA is the only certifying body that requires continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain active certification. 

• Participating in an IKECA Committee is a great way to get involved in the organization.  Select a committee that interests you the most and bring your constructive thoughts and ideas to the table to help support and improve the IKECA.”
