Closest Airport
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is approximately 3 miles (about 10 minutes) from the hotel. For more information on the San Diego International Airport, visit http://www.san.org/

Rental Car
Sixteen rental car companies operate from the new Rental Car Center at San Diego International Airport. A free shuttle will provide transportation to and from the Rental Car Center.  Other companies provide service to SAN passengers, but have rental counters and vehicle pick up services at off-site locations. Airport Shuttle Service
The Westin San Diego provides shuttle service to/from the San Diego International Airport between 6am and 11pm, 7 days a week, that is complimentary to hotel guests. Once you have collected your luggage, please contact the hotel at (619) 239-4500 and one of the hotel operators will give you directions to the pick-up area and an estimated time of arrival as to when the driver will be there to pick you up.  If you wish to take the shuttle back to the airport, please make arrangements at the luggage desk 24 hours prior to your departure.


Taxi ride from the San Diego International Airport is approximately 3 miles (about 10 minutes) from the hotel.  The cost varies from $15 – $20 USD and are readily available at the airport.

From the airport, take MTS public bus #992 to the Broadway and Kettner stop. The hotel is a two block walk from the bus stop. ($2.50/one way)

The bus depot is just one block from the hotel, within easy walking distance.

By Car

When navigating to the hotel the best address to use is 1051 Columbia Street, which will place you at the main lobby entrance.

*Prospective and past members should contact IKECA Headquarters to ensure they qualify for membership and to learn if any special incentives are available.  All prospective and past members will be paired up with a mentor to maximize their meeting experience.

Is there a fee to attend?
Yes, those who own kitchen exhaust cleaning businesses or are vendors to the industry must pay a fee to attend. Learn more about all registration options and fees here.

What happens if my plans changed and I have already registered?
You may transfer your registration to someone else in your company. Please email us to make this change and provide the name and full contact information for the person who will attend.

If you wish to cancel your registration and it is before April 13, 2018, you may email the management team to request and cancellation. Please be sure you receive a confirmation of cancelation in order to receive a refund. All cancellations will be less a $100 processing fee will be completed after the meeting. This will not apply to spouse/companion, single-day, or reception only registrations.

No refunds will be provided after April 13, 2018. This is because IKECA makes commitments in advance of the meeting in which it may not be able to recoup. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Can I attend just part of the meeting?
Yes, IKECA offers a one-day pass but encourages attendees to stay for the whole meeting. Please note that you may not combine two one-day passes.

IKECA also offers a Welcome Reception Only registration which provides access to the kick off of the meeting.

Register for your exam ahead of time

If paying by credit card, and are already registered for the meeting, you may login and register online by adding a certification exam to your cart and checking out.

If paying by check, you may complete the onsite exam application and send your form to IKECA Headquarters, or fill out the onsite exam application and bring it to the registration desk with payment at the meeting. (link to updated onsite exam document attached). It is recommended that you email information@ikeca.org prior to April 16, 2018 to let us know you plan on taking an exam and paying on-site. This ensures we will have an exam ready for you.
